Our story
Two friends and one worn-out beret
We would rather end the run properly than stretch it into something we would not wear ourselves.
What began as an argument between two friends over a beret that had outlasted three winter coats became Alderton. Nine years later the argument is settled, and the idea behind it has not moved an inch.
We choose every wool and every wooden block ourselves, and we have worked with the same finishers since the start. This batch is the last one they will make for us, so we priced it to leave rather than to sit.

How does the bundle discount work?
Every beret on the site is already half price. Buy two and another 15% comes off the order. Buy three or more and it becomes 25%. You can mix any caps you like, and the discount is applied automatically at checkout with nothing to type in.
How do I find my size?
Most of our caps carry an adjustable band and sit comfortably on head circumferences from roughly 54 to 60 cm, which covers the large majority of adults. Between two sizes and unsure, message us before ordering.
How long will it take to get my order?
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days, in batches on Tuesdays and Fridays. Shipping takes around 7 to 15 business days depending on your location, and it is free on every order with no minimum.
What are the return rules?
You can return a cap for any reason within 30 days of receipt. Try it on indoors to keep it returnable. You are responsible for covering the shipping costs back to us, unless the cap arrived faulty.
Do you ship outside the European Union?
Yes, we ship worldwide. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties may apply and are the customer responsibility.
